2060 MARGA is a fully autonomous sampling and measurement system that continuously measures the water-soluble gas and aerosol components that have a direct effect on air quality. These results can then be used to study the formation of aerosols from their precursor gases and how their concentration and composition vary with diurnal and seasonal cycles.

  1. Single software controls sampling and analysis and displays full diagnostic information.
  2. ­Simultaneous measurement of water-soluble gas and aerosol components by a dual ion chromatograph.
  3. ­Time resolution of 1 hour, with full results available 1 hour after sample collection.
  4. ­Unattended operation for up to 2 weeks based on 10 L absorbent solution.
  5. ­Measurement with internal standard which eliminates the need for calibration.
